4x4 Short Cut Trail to 80 Series Hill - Land Rover 110 & Discovery 1 300tdi

Off road again for a day of wheeling at Menai. In this 4x4 video we climb the lesser used short cut track to 80 Series Hill. It starts to the right just after the off camber drop off on the main track. You cross the creek to the right and make the climb which brings you to the base of 80 Series hill. It is a somewhat difficult trail and not many drive this optional trail. There are some big ledges and tight spaces to navigate. It is rather steep but unfortunately the video doesn't show this. The terrain is fairly loose with little traction. We only have 2 four wheel drives including my Land Rover 110 County (Defender) and the mighty Land Rover Discovery 1 300tdi. Both are twin locked with plenty of suspension travel. The Discovery 1 is on 35 inch tyres while i was running the 37 inch Maxxis Trepadores.
