A new version of Nocturnal Protocol BUT BAD is out and somehow it looks even funnier than the previous one. But to be clear, this is not bad in a lazy way. This is bad with effort. The intentionally goofy sprites, the weird expressions, the cursed animations, the exaggerated screaming vocals, and even The Guardian’s failed whistling somehow sounding even more ridiculous make this version genuinely entertaining from start to finish. You can clearly tell a lot of work still went into making everything look as chaotic and silly as possible. In this video I’ll be comparing the brand new Nocturnal Protocol BUT BAD V2 against the older BUT BAD version that I showcased earlier. It’s really fun seeing how the newer version improves on the original joke concept while pushing the ridiculous visuals even further. The changed sprites are somehow worse in the best possible way, certain animation changes make scenes look even more cursed, and overall it feels like a full upgrade despite intentionally trying to look terrible. What makes this even funnier is the contrast with the original Nocturnal Protocol itself. The original song is known for being one of the most intense and atmospheric songs to come out of the Myths of Tubbyland and Slendytubbies FNF community. The dark horror atmosphere, incredible vocals, and especially The Guardian’s smooth whistling voice make the song feel incredibly unique and memorable. Yet somehow even when transformed into a complete joke mod, the song still manages to go hard. That’s honestly what makes Nocturnal Protocol so special. No matter how many recreations, remixes, meme versions, or joke covers people create, the song somehow never loses its impact. Every new version adds something different while still preserving what made the original so iconic in the first place. Even when the entire mod is deliberately made to look terrible, the core song is still strong enough to carry everything. Definitely one of the funniest Nocturnal Protocol fan creations so far, and honestly one of the most memorable Teletubbies horror songs in the entire FNF community right now.
