Short Story : Chutki, Majhali, and Badki are sisters from a very poor family in Rajasthan. Their father Hetram borrows money from the Panchayat and on being unable to return it, sells his eldest daughter Badki who is held captive by a mother and her mentally challenged son who rapes her every night with the desire of having a child. Hetram borrows money again, and Majhali falls prey to the stamppaper tradition and is sold off. She tries to complaint to the police but is forced to retract her complaint. The entire village council members rape her and when she tries to elope, her mother stops her and on being pleaded, she kills Majhali to save her this miserable fate. Her mother also kills Chutki to prevent her from becoming the next target. Badki tries to get help to escape the mother and son and asks the child in the neighborhood for help. The child sends his father, Damodar. Damodar kills the mother and the son and takes Badki with him, holds her captive and rapes her. The police find out and save Badki.
