Day of Prayer 2026 | Houston Police

Houston Police Chief J. Noe Diaz Jr., HPD executive staff and officers join religious leaders for a “Day of Prayer” service at the front entrance of the HPD Edward A. Thomas Building at 1200 Travis Street. The annual prayer service, open to the public, is an observance of National Police Week dedicated to remembering officers who have given their lives in the line of duty to help keep us safe. Motorists are encouraged to drive with their headlights on this week in remembrance of those officers.
