Marcos Jr. holds a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam on the sidelines of the 47th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 27, 2025. Both Leaders reaffirm their commitment to further strengthen the existing ties between the Philippines and Vietnam, especially in the areas of economy and security. They also discuss ways to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual partnership, expressing interest in expanding economic diplomacy and strengthening the two countries’ bilateral strategic partnership.
