Landscape Painting - Inspired by Fiordland NZ

Here is a throwback! Painting the giant Mount Talbot in 2019 was a bit of a thrill for me. Mount Talbot stands proudly in the glacial landscape on the way to Milford Sound, in the south of New Zealand. People come from all around the world to experience this place, I felt a real connection to Fiordland at the time. I played a little with the texture in this painting and I vividly recall this as the first time I got my head around painting water. I hope you enjoy this one.
