Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship recipient Finau Taumoepeau

Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship recipient Finau Taumoepeau has completed a Bachelor of Information Sciences majoring in Software Engineering - and she’s paving the way for others back home in Tonga. Leaving her family and four younger siblings to study in Aotearoa, Finau embraced Massey’s diversity, made lifelong friends in Palmy, and discovered her independence along the way. As she prepares to return home, Finau’s excited to reunite with her family (and her parents’ cooking) - and hopes to put her skills to work in Tonga’s IT sector.
