Fairyflies Ditching Their Nuclei To Get Smaller

Fairyflies (should really be named as Fairywasps due to their taxonomy) are so small that flying for them is more like swimming through water due to the viscosity they face due to their low Reynolds number compared to larger animals, and so have wings that instead function more like paddles. They also as the meme states, lose the nuclei from their neurons to better allow themselves to reach ever tinier sizes, allowing them to fit into niches few other animals can possibly get into, which makes them incredibly specialised little insects.
