172 People Failed Boston's Biggest 10 POUND Japanese Ramen Challenge!!

American pro eater Randy Santel and competitive eater Shawn Butler @basketlockerball each versus YōKi's 10lb Japanese Pork Tonkotsu Ramen Noodles Bowl Challenge hosted by YōKi Japanese Restaurant & Bar - Ramen & Sushi Place in Medford, Massachusetts which is a northern suburb of Boston, MA in the Northeast United States!! A few days after finishing my trip to Eastern Tennessee, I traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to begin a New England food challenge tour that included eleven (11) huge and delicious eating challenges around most of the New England states. For man vs food challenge #1, I met up with my friend Shawn Butler @basketlockerball at YōKi in Medford, MA so we could collaborate and each attempt YōKi's massive 10lb Ramen Bowl Challenge!! Over 172 people had failed to finish everything within the 35 minute time limit, and just four champions had prevailed. The ramen challenge weighs 10 lbs (4.54 kg) total, not including the very heavy bowl. The pork tonkotsu ramen bowl is filled with ramen egg noodles, corn, bamboo, spinach, scallions, lots of chashu pork belly slices, and soft-boiled egg halves. They then add pork ramen broth until it all weighs 10 lbs total, or 4.54 kg. Finish everything within 35 minutes and win the $50 ramen bowl Japanese food meal free plus $100 in gift cards to come back and use later and a spot on their Wall of Fame for completing the challenge!!
