Japanese Wild Boar Forages for Food around the Communal Latrine of Japanese Serows

A Japanese wild boar (Sus scrofa leucomystax, family Suidae) sniffing around the forest floor on the mountainside to forage for food. The boar were indifferent to the communal latrine of Japanese serows (Capricornis crispus, family Bovidae). Captured with my old trailcam in the late-afternoon (around 16:05 PM) of early-September 2024 in Japan.
