World Cup Groups Announced As Trump Awarded Fifa Peace Prize

England were drawn in a World Cup group with Croatia, Panama and Ghana for next summer’s tournament at a two-hour ceremony in Washington built around President Trump. Hailed as being the “greatest event that humanity has ever seen” by the Fifa president Gianni Infantino, the tournament will pit Scotland against Brazil, Morocco and Haiti. Wales and Northern Ireland are in a qualifying play-off involving Italy and Bosnia in March, and will face Canada, Qatar and Switzerland if one of them makes it to the tournament.
