Recipe Details-
Mandi Masala- Dry Roast and Make Powder
2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1.5 Tbsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1.5 Tbsp Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
4-5 Green Cardamom
3-4 Cloves
1 Tsp Black Peppercorns
1/2 Mace
1 Star Anise
1/4 Nutmeg
1 Black Cardamom
2 Cinnamon
2 Bay Leaves
4 Dried Red Chillies
Take 4 Leg & Thigh Chicken Pieces (Make slits) and marinate it with
Prepared Mandi Masala
1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Pinch of Saffron soaked in 1 Tbsp Warm Water
1 Lemon Juice
Zest of 1 Lemon (Only grate the yellow part, stop at the white part as that could taste bitter)
Mix well and optionally add 1 Tbsp Oil. Marinate for 2 hours minimum.
Then cook it in Tandoor mode of the Nester Full Stack Air Fryer for 25 minutes at 190 degrees.
Now for the Mandi Chutney,
Take 4 Tomatoes, Brush it lightly with oil. Place it on the tray and roast it in the same appliance at Roast mode, 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
Once done, remove the peel of the tomatoes and put it in a blender with-
1 onion roughly chopped
3-4 Green Chillies
7-8 Garlic Cloves
Handful of Coriander Leaves
Blend this into a paste. Then add juice of a lemon and salt to this. Mix well and it’s ready to serve!
