Taylor woman faces multiple felonies after landfill chase, police threats

Stacey Sears, a 54-year-old woman from Taylor, faces multiple felony charges after leading police on several chases across Wayne County, ending at Carleton Farms Landfill. During the pursuit, she threatened officers, made over 24 emergency calls, and attempted to ram police vehicles. Police apprehended her after breaking into her car, recovering nine firearms. Sears is charged with fleeing police, carrying a concealed weapon, misuse of emergency services, and reckless driving, with further charges expected.
