Description
G'day all!
Well, as is usual for the High Country, wild weather forced me to make some changes to my day. And by changes, i mean i didn't really come up with a plan of any sort, so i decided to just wing it and see where i end up!
At first i thought, i could try to get somewhere half way between Omeo and Sydney, but with a big heatwave pushing through most places, with temps from 35-40 degress, i decided Geehi would be the most ideal spot for me to get out of the heat and find somewhere to camp that would be a bit sheltered from the wild winds.
So i took the Benambra to Corryong Road. What i thought was just a gravel highway, turned out to be a pretty nice drive.
Then it was time to head to Geehi and setup camp. It turns out, once i got there, was a lovely afternoon, camping by the river. I don't think theres many other places in Oz with a more perfect riverside camp than what Geehi has to offer!
Enjoy!
