Developed in collaboration between Jaguar and Bob Tullius' Group 44 Racing team in the early 1980s, this racing car marked Jaguar’s return to the top class of international motorsport. It was fielded in the IMSA GTP series from 1982 to 1985 before being replaced by the XJR-7.
