This is an Motormouth couple car review of the updated 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a new Hurricane turbo 4-cylinder engine. We are driving the top trim 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with the new 2L Hurricane turbocharged 4-cylinder. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission, 324 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. It gets up to 851 km/529 miles on a tank of fuel and you can use regular fuel. The base 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee engine is the 3.6L Pentastar V6, 293 horsepower and 257 lb-ft of torque. In Canada, 4x4 is standard and in the US, 4x2 and 4x4 options are available. The Summit has up to 12.6” of ground clearance, other Grand Cherokee trims 10.3”. Other tweaks 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee include, an updated seven-slot grille, a new headlamp design, a modified rear and lower fascia, new trim finishes and new colours. In the cabin, there is a new available 12.3” touchscreen with Uconnect 5, a 10.25” passenger screen and either a 9-speaker Alpine audio system or a 19-speaker McIntosh sound system depending on the trim.
