Ram’s 3.0L Hurricane Has INSANE Torque..

The new 2026 Ram 1500 with the 3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six might be one of the most impressive gas truck engines on the market right now. In this reel I do a quick 0–60 pull in the Standard Output Hurricane, and the thing that stands out immediately is just how much torque this engine puts down to the ground. For a full-size pickup, this truck feels seriously quick, and the twin turbos spool almost instantly with very little turbo lag. Even the Standard Output version of the Hurricane delivers a ton of usable torque and makes the Ram 1500 feel way quicker than you’d expect from a half-ton truck. Safe to say… Ram absolutely nailed the power delivery on this engine.
