Midland 77- 810UK CB27/81 UK FM CB radio emergency set - On The Air test

After servicing this 1982 emergency radio, it was time to test it. Recorded 12th May 2026 Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point for a low power static test. The radio was set for 3.6W. These radios don't have power. The built-in electret microphone was used throughout. Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us.
