The Ransom is Scott's big travel, big hitting enduro bike with a carbon front triangle and super advanced suspension technology resulting in the rear shock being completely contained within the frame, protected from the elements and providing 170mm of rear wheel travel, this particular one has received a bespoke paint job featuring metallic black and 24k Gold Leaf for the decals. For suspension we have full FOX Factory with the 38 GRIP X2 fork upfront giving 170mm of travel, DHX2 coil shock at the back and the Transfer remote seatpost. Up in the cockpit it's Syncros Hixon one-piece carbonfibre bar/stem combination which combined with the frame's integration gives you a super slick and organised cable/hose management system. For braking we've got the super powerful SRAM Maven brakes alongside Galfer's Shark 6-bolt rotors and hardware, gearing is provided by SRAM T-Type AXS GX which offers a huge range of gears in a robust and fully wireless package. For the crankset we've fitted a RaceFace ERA carbon fibre pair of crank arms and the ERA chainring which is a combination of carbon, alloy and steel, finished off with a pair of Turbine flat pedals. It's a RaceFace ERA 29" carbon fibre wheelset which is the gold standard of enduro bike wheelsets and paired up with Schwalbe's radial compound tyres with the Magic Mary upfront and the Albert at the bike, the ultimate tyre combination for this bike! Finishing touches include the KMC pre-waxed flat top SRAM chain and SDG BEL-AIR saddle!
