Description

Not every heaviness in the heart comes from sin. Sometimes it comes from pain. In Episode 12 of Journey Into the Heart, Mufti Azeemuddin explores how buried wounds shape the heart — and how the Qur’an teaches us to heal. Loss. Betrayal. Disappointment. Neglect. Moments that changed how you see people — or yourself. Buried pain doesn’t disappear. It spills into daily life. Allah shows us where to take it: إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّهِ “I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah.” — Qur’an 12:86 And He says: وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ “Seek help through patience and prayer.” — Qur’an 2:45 Healing in Islam is not denial. It is turning to the One who controls healing. Carry the pain into salah. Especially into sujūd. The Prophet ﷺ also reminded us: “No fatigue, illness, worry, grief, or harm afflicts a Muslim except that Allah expiates sins through it.” Pain is not only a test. It can become purification — if it brings you back to Allah instead of pushing you into bitterness. Ramadan is quiet enough for wounds to surface — not to break you, but to finally be carried to Allah. 🌙 New episodes daily this Ramadan. Subscribe and return — daily.
