Today, during one of my community outreaches, I met a humble family of 12—a mother, father, and their 10 children, the youngest only has 8 months old. Their story broke my heart. They live with nothing but hope. No sugar for their tea, no rice on their plates, and sadly, not one of their children has the chance to attend school because of financial hardship. With the little I had, I provided them food—rice, sugar, maize flour, cooking oil, soap, an envelope with some cash and some clothes. It wasn’t enough, but the unexpected kindness brought smiles to their faces, and that moment reminded me why we must never give up on humanity.
