Will my moth eat the honey? #moths

Deaths head hawk moths will steal honey from bee hives in the wild but when I raise them they’ll often refuse to eat which is why I usually hand feed them. My daughter brought some honey comb back from Greece so I thought I’d give it a try. He didn’t feed at all but I’ll keep trying him
