Description

The Destiny congregation conducted their service in Aotea Square this morning, prior to the kids enjoying the fun of the Santa parade along Queen Street. The aspect which always strikes me about Destiny events is how friendly they are. The congregation consists of genuinely lovely people, very family orientated, always smiley, happy and welcoming. Alongside the ecclesiastical formalities there is invariably food and song: fellowship. And sausage sizzles. Brian Tamaki spoke well as he always does and outlined the objectives of the Bridge to Better march across the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the 31st of January, more about that here: https://www.truepatriots.org.nz/ In this clip I've included a part of his speech this morning that particularly resonated with me. I agree with his assessment of the challenge our society faces, and with many of the solutions he proposes. I expect a great many people do, and that a great many will be joining him at the bridge on January 31st. -SRA. Auckland, 30/xi 2025.
