They kept STEALING her mowers and she was running out of options

So I went out to meet her, and right away you could tell she was feeling pretty hopeless about the whole thing. She told me a windstorm a while ago had blown down her back fence, and ever since then people would come through the alley behind her house and into her backyard. Over time they ended up stealing her lawn mowers, not just once but a few different times. She'd buy one, it would get taken, she'd get another, and the last one she had finally just stopped running. So with no working mower and the fence finally fixed, her yard had gotten completely out of hand. She'd recently started a new job, and she mentioned she was worried her neighbors were getting embarrassed by how the place looked, so she messaged me almost out of desperation. I told her I'd get the whole thing cleaned up completely free of charge, and I ended up spending the entire day out there. The backyard was the worst of it. She had a big pile of junk and some heavy wood back there, so I hauled all of it out and got it to the dump in one load. There was also a huge volunteer tree growing right up against the foundation that was rubbing the house and banging against her window while she slept, so I took that down too. Then I got everything edged up and mowed down until it looked like a completely different property.
