Surrounded by New Delhi’s suburban-like streets with trees and plenty of space, the Sarojini Nagar Market is a major contrast. Covering a 200 m by 300 m area, it is a densely packed and very lively market with both outdoor and covered laneways with one shop after the other. Here, they sell anything from colorful dresses, shoes, bags, jewelry to food, toys and hats. We visited the market on a Saturday, and it was very busy. We ended up with a lot of good purchases, so the Sarojini Market is the perfect place to come if you would like a bargain.
