Man dies plunging from high-rise flats after huge fire engulfs Scots tower block

A MAN has died after falling from a Scots high-rise after a horror blaze broke out. Emergency crews were scrambled to the scene at Grange Tower in Motherwell around 10.20pm last night. The blaze engulfed a flat on the eleventh floor of the tower block in the Shields Drive area of the town. Nine fire engines and a specialist height appliance were scrambled to the scene. A man fell from a window of the high-rise during the blaze. It is understood he fell from the flat that was on fire.
