Democrats Expected To Vote Against Reopening The Government

The House on Wednesday will take up a bill to reopen the government that the Senate passed on Monday. President Donald Trump has signaled he supports the measure, indicating that it’s likely to pass the Republican-led chamber. Democrats are expected to vote against the measure. The International Atomic Energy Agency has been unable to verify Iran's near weapons-grade uranium stockpile since Israel struck its nuclear sites in June. According to the IAEA's last report in September, Iran has a stockpile of uranium enriched up to 60% purity. Iran insists its program is peaceful, but the IAEA and Western nations say otherwise. And a Turkish military cargo plane has crashed in Georgia near the Azerbaijan border. The C-130 took off from Azerbaijan and was heading back to Turkey when it crashed Tuesday. All 20 on board were killed.
