Welcome to magnificent Lake Louise, a glacial lake located within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It is considered one of the most popular tourist destinations in Canada and one of my favorite places to visit. Numerous summer and winter outdoor activities are available at the lake and its surrounding area which include hiking, boating, camping, fishing, mountain biking, climbing, skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and more. 'Fairmont Hotels & Resorts' operates the 'Chateau Lake Louise', a luxury resort hotel on the eastern shore of Lake Louise. The Hamlet of Lake Louise is a short drive from the lake itself. There, you'll find the Lake Louise Visitor Centre, accommodations, a small mall, food, gas station, and other supplies.
