The vehicles of the R5 category(Now Rally2 category) are compared for their potential to the World Rally Car and the RRC. It shares some characteristics with these such as the minimum weight or the width of the tracks, however they have elements similar to the series models and it does not have the aerodynamic and mechanical package like the WRCs. The turbo flange must be 32 mm and have 20 hp less power (280 hp) than the WRC. The biggest difference lies in the cost, since they are cheaper so they compete in price against the Super 2000 and the RRC but offer greater advantages.
