Shinichi Wakasa Profile Born in 1960 in Tokyo, Shinichi Wakasa is a renowned creature sculptor and designer. Since the 1980s, he has worked on numerous tokusatsu productions, including the Toho Godzilla series.In 1998, he became the first-ever “Modeling Producer” in the Japanese film industry for Rebirth of Mothra III, and continued to oversee creature modeling for the Godzilla series through Godzilla: Final Wars.In addition to major films such as Yatterman, Gantz, and Terra Formars, he has supervised kaiju modeling for the Fes Godzilla short film series since 2020. Following his work on Fest Godzilla II: Shinjuku Burning, he returns once again to lead the creation of the newly built "Burning Millennium Godzilla" suit for the latest installment.
