How to Sustainably Groom your Dog at a Salon

With over 6 million pet dogs in Australia and many of those being professionally groomed, that's a lot of fur going to landfill! When you take into account items like plastic shampoo bottles and the likes, wouldn't it be great to be able to recycle those things? Dog behaviourist and trainer, Lara Shannon, talks with Renee Pearce from Sustainable Salons to hear how the Petstock group has been doing exactly that, working with them to help repurpose the fur collected from their grooming salons and recycle other valuable resources. Sustainable salons, working with Petstock are now able to recycle dog fur, shampoo bottles, aluminum, plastics, chemicals and papers, saving so much from becoming landfill.
