The Manager was NOT Impressed 😂

When Rayan Cherki assisted Foden's goal with a flashy Rabona, the fans went crazy... Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, however, was less impressed. After the match he said he prefers simple moves done right, comparing the situation to Lionel Messi (who has never done a single rabona in over 1200 games.) The whole situation got me thinking... The rabona could be the only 'anti-skill' in all of football. By that I mean -- a skill move that specifically shows you aren't that skilled. Typically, these move is performed by players with poor weak-foots, where crossing your leg to strike the ball with your dominant foot is more effective than just using the other one. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, whether you agree or not! Still a cool skill, and as I'm sure you know this doesn't apply to Rayan Cherki (the man who got the assist), as he's excellent with both feet.
