Description

Recent drone footage shows the impressive progress being made at our Paerātā Railway Station site! The worksite begins at State Highway 22, where NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is constructing a roundabout that will connect SH22 to the new station via a road bridge over the rail corridor. On the opposite side of the tracks are the newly developed wetlands, which will ensure the site's long-term resilience. The road and car park are also taking shape and teams have recently installed the beams for the pedestrian footbridge, which will connect the two platforms. We are now working towards the next major milestone: installing the beams for the road bridge.
