20260507, MSF, Fortune Leadership Council, network lunch, Toronto, Canada, 加華錄像館, 加拿大多倫多 The Fortune Leadership Council (FLC) • The Fortune Leadership Council (FLC), a network of local Chinese business leaders, was established in 2016 with a mission to raise awareness for and give back to Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) to support its key fundraising priorities and needs. The FLC’s pledge is aimed at reaching out to philanthropists in our Chinese community who are interested in supporting the ongoing need for new equipment, innovative technology and the expansion of MSH’s critical departments. • FLC was founded in 2016, under the leadership of inaugural co-chairs, Alan Kwong and Kenny Wan, and honourary chair, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti. Alan Kwong, David Ho, Gordon Chan, Stephen Li, and Kenny Wan continue to lead the FLC — an assembly of local Chinese business leaders with a shared mission to give back to the hospital. Together, they have inspired a growing circle of Chinese philanthropic supporters to bring abundant blessings to MSH and help ensure exceptional care remains close to home. • This year, FLC celebrates its 10th anniversary raising $3.4M to date, with continued efforts to raise more funds. FLC’s network of Chinese philanthropists, which is over 50 business and community leaders strong, has made inspiring contributions to this endeavour. The Fortune Club • Last year, FLC introduced the new Fortune Club, which is an exclusive network of Chinese business leaders and MSH ambassadors who meet bi-monthly to collaborate and strategize on the continued fundraising success of FLC. Membership is by referral and must be accompanied by an individual donation between $10,000 and $100,000 or more for MSH.
