Suspects Sought in Violent Smoke Shop Robbery in NW Houston | Houston Police

The Houston Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two armed persons who assaulted an employee and robbed a smoke shop at gunpoint on W. Tidwell Rd. near Highway 290 in Northwest Houston. On Friday, April 17, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the complainant was working behind the counter of a business located in the 7800 block of West Tidwell Road in Houston, Texas. Two armed suspects entered the business and approached the complainant. During the incident, the complainant attempted to disarm one of the suspects, resulting in both suspects assaulting the complainant. The suspects then stole items from the business before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. Suspect description: #1 W/M armed, dark colored mask, hoodie, pants, and shoes. Blue and black gloves #2 W/M dark colored hoodie and pants.
