Women in Tourism – Ecole Travel, growth and confidence through training

Centre Stage aims to put a focus on women’s empowerment within the tourism sector, including the involvement of public institutions and businesses, with the active support of civil society. This UN Tourism programme was implemented in Costa Rica in 2022 in close cooperation with the Institute of Tourism (ICT) and different tourism businesses that committed to improving the professional situation of women in tourism, leading efforts towards gender equality in the sector.
