DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly Away Woodstock Ontario Mar 25 2026

Had my first fly away almost with my DJI Mini 4 Pro and think it was self inflicted. I was moving from one spot to another and less both the drone and controller on. I did get a message max distance reached so think it was unable to locate the GPS signal. I only had seconds before the train came so launched before it was ready and it rose up and decided to go where it wanted. Now hitting a tree was not in the plans but maybe a good thing or who knew how long it would have kept going. I guess the obstacle avoidance was disabled. Learned a lesson and got away with no damage. :-) Caught the tail end of the train after rescuing the drone.
