Shadow Whisperers / Channel Lore

There are currently 4 known species of this peculiar entity (Green type)- The average and most common type of shadow whispers. They have different rankings which control the severity of their control. By manipulating your darkest fears, they can control your mind to do their bidding. Lower rankers can only activate one eye while higher ones can activate two. Lower ranker’s spells can often be broken free. Any rank with the ability to activate two eyes will be almost impossible to break free, and the only hope to be free is to pray that they change their mind and let you go. (Blue type)- A type of shadow whisperer in which the eyes can be deactivated and activated manually. They can manipulate physical injuries. For example, If strong enough, they can decide whether you can be permanently blind (e.g.) or temporarily. It can be any physical injury including loss of senses. If powerful enough, it can create the temporary illusion of permanently deactivating a shadow whisperer’s power anytime for a short period. However, it can only really deactivate the power for a couple of minutes whilst the rest is just an illusion. (Purple type)- They can switch positions and places with any random person manually as long as they think of them. They tend to rely on teamwork and other abilities to make the most use of their power. Once they get hold of your identity, you will be walking on a tightrope between life and death for the rest of your life. If strong enough, they can place someone in any sort of danger without changing their location. (Lethal type)- The entity was last seen in the world still without a host 5 centuries ago. It seemed like it was almost looking and waiting for its host. It was confirmed to be the only one in the world and unlike others, it cannot regenerate more. Once the host dies, it will die along with them causing it to go extinct. It is much more powerful than any rank but to pull out its true power it will have to depend on the skill of the wielder. Cleverly, it disguises itself as a mere low ranker to avoid an unwanted host.
