Canada's first hardware hackathon for high schools

Nearly 100 high school students from Ottawa and Montreal gathered at uOttawa for what organizers call Canada's first-ever hardware hackathon for youth. CTV's Camille Wilson speaks with founder Andy and students Chandan Nir, Khidr, Sara Al Sawf, Yin Yin, Alvin, and Swanish. The free 12-hour event encourages students to get off their screens and learn cutting-edge skills by building physical hardware, such as robots that detect temperature and humidity.
