Gipfelstürmer (which translates as Summit Climber) was the world's first Gerstlauer Shuttle Family Coaster. It is located in the scenic Freizeitpark Ruhpolding in Bavaria, Germany. With a top speed of 31 mph it features a unique "mountain goat" themed train that climbs a steep back-spike before plunging into a layout of tight twists and turns. This off-ride footage filmed in 2025 showcases the coaster's beautiful alpine setting as the train navigates the track forwards and in reverse, providing a thrilling but family-friendly ride.
