"You Don't Get Brain Freeze?!" | Crown Candy's Iconic Malted Milkshakes Challenge in Saint Louis!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Crown Candy Kitchen's Famous / Iconic Malted Milkshakes Challenge which was featured on Man v. Food: Season 1 many years ago, hosted by Crown Candy Kitchen on the outskirts of downtown Saint Louis, Missouri!! While home with my family in St. Peters, Missouri to celebrate Thanksgiving (2025), @KatinaEatsKilos and I headed to Crown Candy Kitchen near downtown Saint Louis, so she could finally attempt their famous Malted Milkshakes Challenge for the very first time. I originally beat the challenge for overall victory #30 back in 2010 or 2011, and then set the time record a year or two later, at 2:29. That was a long time ago, back when I didn't have as many subscribers and "followers." A lot of people tell me about this challenge, not knowing that I've already beaten it twice, so I decided to try it again after Katina, just to have a more updated video. For the base challenge, there is a 30 minute time limit to drink five 24 ounce malted milkshakes from the menu. You can get five vanilla or chocolate shakes, or you can also choose a variety of flavors from their menu. This is one of the oldest food challenges in the United States, if not the oldest, since Crown Candy Kitchen first opened up in 1913. Finish five or more malted milkshakes within 30 minutes and win them all free plus a sweet T-shirt and your name will be engraved on their Wall of Fame plaque.
