COMPILATION VIDEO ... Out riding in the desert, I set out to find the place where Sheriff Pat Garrett was killed—the same lawman known for taking down Billy the Kid. It’s one thing to read about history… it’s another to ride out into that country and stand where it actually happened. Along the way, I share some of the story behind Garrett, the land, and what it feels like to be out there seeing it for yourself. Later in the ride, things take a turn when I end up in some rough country and have a hard fall that could’ve gone a lot worse. These rides don’t always go as planned—but that’s part of it.
