The Boys was an American R&B/New Jack Swing group composed of the four Abdulsamad brothers, becoming Motown’s youngest producers in the late 1980s. Their debut single "Dial My Heart" (1988), was their biggest hit. It successfully crossed over, peaking at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles Chart and reaching Number 16 on the mainstream Billboard Hot 100. They followed this with another R&B chart-topper "Lucky Charm." The group disbanded in the mid-1990s but later reformed under the name Suns of Light and continue to release independent projects and perform today.
