Sally had been traveling solo through the western United States, with stops in Palm Springs and Las Vegas. On June 19th, she texted friends she was about to hike Lone Mountain. That night, cameras caught her at Timbers Bar and Grill until around 10:30pm. The next day, she checked out of her hostel remotely, left her luggage behind, and never boarded the bus she'd booked to Los Angeles for her flight home.
