Mar 27, 2026 Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains on the SACRT Gold Line pass through the Marketplace Lane railroad crossing in Rancho Cordova, California. The previous day or likely, the day I filmed this, the sand barrel was hit by a turning truck saving the median signal here and only causing a light to have a bent visor or lens hood and a slightly made crooked light. SACRT nearly missed the mark because the signal was installed in mid Jan 2026 and the sand barrel wasn't added until a couple of weeks ago and if it wasn't here, this signal would of already been destroyed. However, SACRT needs to put the sand barrel back in its correct position as the signal is exposed again.
