THE INSANE LAUNCHING 1100 WHP 2.8L SKINNE BEETLE

One of the stand out cars at the EU Flat Four Shootout at Malmo Raceway in Sweden was the incredible Skinne Beetle driven by Jens Petter Brandstorp, and built by Tor Øyvind Skinne. This 1100 WHP 2.8L Flat Four Wasserboxer powered Beetle was testing their new larger slicks over the 1/8 mile track. I'm not sure on the World Record for the 1/8 mile for a flat four powered VW Beetle, but this must be one of the quickest out there. Their PB for the 1/4 mile is 7.86 at 186mph.
