LIVE HEARING: HI v. Gerhardt Konig - Trouble in Paradise Trial

A hearing is scheduled Monday in the trial against Dr. Gerhardt Konig, an anesthesiologist from Maui. Konig is accused of trying to kill his wife while the two were on a hike in Honolulu. According to investigators, Dr. Konig allegedly pushed his wife toward a cliff, tried to inject her with a syringe, and struck her repeatedly with a lava rock. Konig pleaded not guilty and faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
