The PlayStation DRM Situation...

A recent firmware update has resulted in people discovering that recently purchased PS4/PS5 games have a new DRM that many assumed is a new requirement to log into the internet every 30 days. Recent community investigations have shown that this is not the case and that this new DRM is more a means to plug an exploit from jailbroken PS4's, but Sony/PlayStation's lack of communication did not help alleviate the mass panic they caused.
