Trains captured whilst on my May 2026 road trip to Victoria! Unfortunately, my forward journey clashed with a 5 day shutdown of the ARTC line between Sydney & Melbourne, so limiting video opportunities! Friday, 01 May: 1348 hrs: QUBE empty grain service rolls into Cootamundra with QL014 & CF4423 leading 1412 hrs: SSR's 44206 shunts a couple of hoppers into their depot in Cootamundra Some photos of SSR’s new CAC class locos, having just arrived from China.The four locos were awaiting testing and approval to work on the ARTC network - CAC201-204 1507 hrs: 4811 & RL302 push 2 hoppers back into Junee yard off the Griffith line Friday, 08 May: 1230 hrs: Train 1311, QUBE container service to Harefield heads into Junee, led by QBX003 & 1103 1256 hrs: Triple headed grain service with CLP9, CLF3 & CLP12 passes the Broadway level crossing near old Junee heading south towards Melbourne 1311 hrs: C504 & 44206, heading off the Griffith branch at Junee & into the yard 1341 hrs: Running around 30 minutes late, Melbourne bound ST23 passes Bethrunga with XP2004 & XP2012 1651 hrs: Pacific National's 6NY3 passes through Goulburn with NR44 & NR58 Chapters: 00:00 - Opening 00:18 - QUBE Grain QL & CF locos 01:45 - SSR’s 44206 shunts 02:40 - SSR’s new CAC locos 03:24 - SSR shunt - 48 & RL classes 04:10 - QUBE containers, QBX & 1100 classes 07:25 - SSR Grain, CLP, CLF, CLP locos 10:57 - SSR shunt - C & 442 classes 11:55 - ST23 Melbourne XPT 12:36 - PacNat 6NY3, double NR class 14:33 - Full train details Capturing trains in action and railway / railroad services in Australia and around the world.
