'K-9 Ritter is 10-42: Police dog retires after 8 years of service

After 8 years of serving with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department, K-9 Ritter is retiring. "Ritter and Officer Justin Zurbuchen have worked side by side as an explosives-detection and human-tracking team, helping keep our campus safe through 327 deployments, countless special events, and every single Wisconsin football home game," the police department wrote.
